线粒体氧化磷酸化合成ATP时有部分能量以热能形式发散 ,解偶联蛋白 (UCP)具有使线粒体呼吸链解偶联作用 ,解偶联所释放的能量以热能的形式发散。在对UCP与产热关系的研究中 ,发现UCP2具有许多UCP1所没有的功能 ,并且可能是将肥胖与 2型糖尿病相关联的一个重要基因。
Mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation Some energy is dissipated as heat energy in the synthesis of ATP. Uncoupling protein (UCP) has the effect of uncoupling the mitochondrial respiratory chain, and the energy released by uncoupling dissipates as heat energy. In the study of the relationship between UCP and thermogenesis, UCP2 was found to have many functions that UCP1 does not have, and it may be an important gene that associates obesity with type 2 diabetes.
