虽然现在的NBA充斥着各种各样的高飞暴扣,但归根结底,篮球场上最有效、也最基本的得分方式依然是:投篮。进攻队运用各种技术、战术的目的,都是为了创造更多更好的投篮机会并力求投中得分;防守队积极防御都是为了阻挠对方投篮得分。在上世纪NBA刚成立的当初,两届得分王、“跳投始祖”乔-法尔克斯职业生涯的命中率也不过仅有29.5%。随着篮球运动的发展,球员身高、身体素质及技术水平的提高,促使投篮技术不断发展:出手部位由低到高,出手速度由慢到快,投篮方式越来越多,命中率也不断提高。
