近年来,吸毒人员向互联网渗透的趋势愈发明显,出现了利用网络聊天室进行网络视频直播吸毒的新型犯罪案件。毒品犯罪分子利用网络的虚拟性、隐蔽性等特点,开设虚拟房间进行“网络吸毒”。加大了公安机关收集情报线索、固定犯罪证据和查处案件的难度。为了遏制网络吸毒势态的蔓延,应加强对取证人才的培养工作、加强对网络平台的监管力度,并及时出台相关法律规范,解决案件定性存在争议的问题,实现对网络吸毒案件的合法打击。
