Sixty four coal miners with different pick-up times were tested for plasma endothelin and nitric oxide concentrations. The results showed that the concentration of endothelin was higher than that of the control group at each time of shaking-up, and the concentration of endothelin increased more obviously with the prolongation of shaking time (P <0.05, P <0.01). The nitric oxide concentration was higher than that of the control group at the time of 50000h, but no statistical significance (P> 0.05). When the vibration time was> 500h, the concentration of nitric oxide was lower than that of the control group , And the decrease was more obvious with the extension of vibration duration (P <0.05, P <0.01). The results showed that the increase of plasma endothelin concentration and the decrease of nitric oxide concentration could be caused by hand vibration, which may be related to vasomotion
