当前,中国的第三代移动通信技术(3G)建设正处于紧张进行中。在3G建设过程中,如何实现与第二代移动通信技术(2G)网络之间的平滑切换,是各个运营商十分关注的问题。以全球移动通讯系统(GSM)和带码多分址(WCDMA)网络为例,分析了2G向3G过渡期间小区选择和驻留方式,并对现网2G向3G切换设置进行了深入分析,提出了3G问题小区的切换策略,并通过新增加一套参数进行了规模实验进行了验证,对于保障3G网络质量和提升用户感知有一定的参考价值。
At present, China’s third generation mobile communication technology (3G) construction is in the process of tension. In the process of 3G construction, how to realize the smooth handoff with the second generation mobile communication network (2G) is a problem that various operators are very concerned about. Taking Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and WCDMA (Multi-Address Code Division Multiple Access) as an example, this paper analyzes the cell selection and camping modes during the transition from 2G to 3G networks, 3G cell handover strategy, and through the addition of a set of parameters for the size of the experiment was verified for the protection of 3G network quality and enhance user perception have some reference value.
