经验性和理论性是现代科学的两个基本特性,而现代管理科学至今在总体上仍处在经验科学阶段,是一门不成熟的现代科学。管理哲学是交叉于科学哲学与管理科学之间的一门边缘学科。相对于至今仍处在经验科学层次的特殊管理学,管理哲学是理论科学层次上的一般管理学,即管理学的元理论。要使自己发展成为一门成熟的现实科学,现代管理科学有必要把自己从经验科学层次提升到理论科学层次。加强管理哲学研究十分必要,这不只是实现管理科学从经验科学到理论科学的向上发展的必然要求,更是通过对管理科学与非管理科学加以综合创新的会通工作来实现管理科学向前发展的必然要求。
Empiricism and theory are two basic characteristics of modern science. However, modern management science is still in the stage of empirical science as a whole and is an immature modern science.
