Two orthogonal experiments were used to determine the optimum extraction process of polysaccharides from Psyllium communis with the total polysaccharide content of Psyllium. When extracting, 30 times the amount of alkaline water with PH = 9 is used to extract 3 times for a total of 48 hours; the concentration ratio of alcohol precipitation is 1:2 0, add 2 times of alcohol, and stand for 6 hours.
