语言是区域文化重要的组成本分,积极的分析语言的分区和分片对于了解区域文化的差异性和共同点有着重要的帮助。随着我国语言研究的深入,对于方言的探讨在进一步的加强,所以在方言分区和分片方面的划分也有了一定的进步。从我国目前的方言划分来看,除去七大方言区外,还存在着一些特点比较显著的方言片区,比如徽语区、晋语区和平话区,湘西乡话和上述三个区域一致,有着自己明显的特点,积极的分析湘西乡话可以为我国的方言研究提供更加丰富的资料,所以本文就湘西乡话的分布和分片进行探讨,目的是要全面的了解此种方言的划分以及具体的差异。
