冶金部于1980年12月18日至21日在湖南省湘潭锰矿主持召开了SP-3型混凝土喷射机技术鉴定会。冶金部长沙矿山研究院为了解决目前国内使用的混凝土喷射机难于处理比较潮湿的混合料的问题,研制了SP-3型混凝土喷射机。1979年以来,经过一年的工业试验,共喷混凝土400米~2,喷护巷道250米。结果表明,该机所有技术性能指标都达到了设计要求。
