“,”Objective:To explore the electroencephalography (EEG) spectrum features of autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), which could provide an important bias for revealing the mechanism of ASMR from the perspective of electric neurophysiology.Methods:Thirty-three healthy subjects were recruited from Southern Medical University from June 2019 to December 2019. Emotional response and power information of δ, θ and α rhythms of these subjects when listening to ASMR audio and white noise were recorded. Results:ASMR response was triggered in 16 subjects (ASMR group) when listening to ASMR audio; and ASMR response was not triggered in 17 subjects (control group). As compared with the control group, the subjects in the ASMR group were more pleasant when listening to ASMR audio, accompanied by significantly increased power of δ and θ rhythms ( n P<0.05). As compared with white noise, ASMR audio could promote pleasure and power of δ and θ rhythms in the ASMR group, with significant differences (n P<0.05).n Conclusion:ASMR could promote pleasure, and the mechanism may be related to the enhancement of power of δ and θ rhythms.
