是否在课堂教学中开展语法教学是长期以来一直有争议的一个话题。新目标教材的设计更加侧重学生听说能力的培养和词汇量的输入,那么语法教学在当前中学外语教学中占有怎样的地位呢?笔者认为语法教学是外语教学的重要组成部分,教师应根据不同年龄段学生的认知特点采取不同的语法教学方法,通过语法知识的学习来培养学生正确运用语言的能力,以达到交际的目的。
Whether or not to teach grammar in classroom teaching has long been a topic of controversy. The design of the new target textbook places more emphasis on the students’ ability of listening and speaking and the input of the vocabulary. So what position does grammar teaching occupy in the current foreign language teaching in secondary schools? The author believes that grammar teaching is an important part of foreign language teaching. The cognitive characteristics of students in different age groups take different grammar teaching methods, through the study of grammatical knowledge to develop students’ ability to use language correctly in order to achieve the purpose of communication.
