日本广播协会(NHK)与日本光学工业等公司一起,研制成功能反复记录和放映彩色动画的视频光盘系统。一套系统(两张光盘)可记录彩色动画10分钟,彩色静止画面18000幅。磁光盘直径30cm,采用铽铁和钆铁钴双层膜结构垂直磁化方式,表面用玻璃板保护。摄象机摄制的图象和声音信号转换成数字信号,用激光在光盘表面上记录并读出。光盘材料、光学头以及信号处理技术面目一新,重新写入速度达110Mb,并实现了噪声衰减。 The Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK), together with companies such as Japan’s Optical Industry, developed a video CD-ROM system capable of repeatedly recording and displaying colorful animations. A system (two discs) can record color animation for 10 minutes, 18,000 color still images.
