編輯同志: 貴刊第四期刊登陳俠先生對於拙譯奧戈羅得尼考夫教授所著教育學前九章譯文提出的意見,尤(?)先生對於該書第五章譯文提出的意見,第五期又有馬驥雄先生對第一二兩章譯文的批評。我對於三位先生的批評意見,誠懇地接受。在三位先生提出批評以前,該書早已停止再版,並在去冬着手修訂。在修訂中間,發現譯文不但有若干漏誤,還有一些極端嚴重的原則性錯誤。這充分表示我對於介紹蘇聯先進科學的翻譯工作,抱着極不端正的態度,粗枝大葉,不能忠實地對人民出版事業,對讀者負責。現值我們祖國建樹各項人民教育制度之時,介紹蘇聯先進教育科學,當極重要,而我對於翻譯工作,竟至如此粗疏大意,實在對不起讀者,對不起人民。我除向陳侠、尤(?)和馬驥雄三位先生表示誠懇感謝外,我當根據三位及其他先生提出的意見,謹 Editor’s Comrade: The fourth issue of your journal contains the opinions of Mr. Chen Xia on the translation of the nine pre-school texts of education written by Professor Ogood-Nikafikov, Mr. Yu’s opinion on the translation of chapter V of the book, In the fifth issue, there is Mr. Ma Ji-hsiung’s criticism of the translations of the first two chapters.
