The Snail, a famous French painter, was born in 1953 by Fantasist Henri Matisse, one of the masterpieces of Matisse’s abstract works of art. “Snail” works as simple as pure image enjoys popular support, is a very artistic charm of the painting. From painting to graphic design, an abstract collage of works is displayed in front of the world, which is the product of the artist’s painstaking thinking through the images of nature. Discussed the abstract and simple features of modern graphic design aesthetics. At the same time, combined with the experimental graphic design studied by the author during graduate study, the case analysis was carried out to find out the inspiration of snail graphics to the modern graphic design, hoping to sort out a design theory for learning reference.
