Japanese war criminals are the most abhorrent devils in China. They are one of the most brutal murder machines, and innumerable innocent lives are destroyed in their hands. Recently, a group of World War I Japanese war criminals made pictures of prisoners meeting with the world. These pictures are mechanically dull and lifeless, from which we may be able to understand the character and traits of some war criminals and the state of mind when the doomsday comes. Last summer, the 57th anniversary of Japan’s World War II surrender, the Philadelphia Art Association of the United States held a special exhibition at the local art museum with a total of about 500 exhibits, all under the control of the U.S. occupying forces. Precious historical materials in prisons.
