During explosion welding, a stable interface state can be obtained only at a distance from the start of the collision. But can introduce artificial interference on a collision surface to control this distance. This article discusses two types of interference: (i) transitional disturbances, which are disturbances caused by embedding different materials on the copper substrate interface; and (ii) geometric disturbances, which are disturbances caused by processing a small step on the substrate. However, it can be seen that there are similarities between these two interface disturbances, so that it is possible to use a simple test for different configurations and materials and to provide a convenient process for the study of various parameters. In addition, the experiment also found some new evidence to explain the mechanism of stress wave generated by waves.
