本文基于Prince等人从语用的角度对模糊限制语的分类,以《乔治·莱考夫认知语言学十讲》为语料,分析了模糊限制语在英语学术讲座中的使用情况和语用功能。通过分析表明在语料中缓和型模糊限制语的使用多于变动型,其主要原因是学术讲座注重知识的准确性。
This article is based on the classification of hedges by Prince et al. From the perspective of pragmatics. Taking “George Lakoff Cognitive Linguistics 10 Lectures” as the corpus, this paper analyzes the use and pragmatics of hedges in English academic lectures Features. The analysis shows that the use of mild hedges in corpus is more than the changeable ones. The main reason is that academic lectures focus on the accuracy of knowledge.
