At present, even for a long period of time in the future, multi-story brick buildings will still be the main structural type between our civil and public buildings and factory floor life. However, these houses are brittle structures that are easily destroyed and collapsed during the earthquake and are the major threats to human casualties and property losses. In recent years, with the development of earthquake engineering and engineering seismic technology, the seismic strengthening of multi-story brick houses has received increasing attention. On the basis of summarizing relevant domestic and foreign data, this article mainly introduces the results of experimental research on the connection of anchor rods for seismic reinforcement of multi-story brick buildings, which can be used for seismic strengthening projects.
