《晚清四十家诗钞》精加评点,分别涂径,以师友源澜为主,收录近代旧体诗人诗作,从编辑体例、选辑原则等方面表现桐城诗派的诗学观。辑者吴闿生继承桐城诗学并兼容当时各旧体诗派的诗学观,总结了晚清桐城诗学特色和创作方法,将桐城诗学提升到一个新的境界。
The Criticisms of “Forty Poems in Late Qing Dynasty” are elaborated. They are mainly painted by their originals. They are mainly composed of teachers and friends. They contain the poems of the old poets in modern times. They show the poetics of the Tongcheng poetic school in terms of editing style and editorial principle. The writer Wu Junsheng inherited the Tongcheng poetics and was compatible with the poetics of the various old-style poetry schools at that time. He summarized the poetic characteristics and creative methods of Tongcheng in the late Qing Dynasty and raised the Tongcheng poetics to a new realm.
