“快堆”是“钠冷快中子反应堆”的简称,是世界上第四代先进核能系统的首选堆型,代表了第四代核能系统的发展方向。快堆的核燃料闭合式循环,可使铀资源利用率提高至60%以上,也可使长寿命核废料产生量得到最大程度地降低,实现放射性废物最小化。国际社会普遍认为,发展和推广快堆,可以从根本上解决世界能源的可持续发展和绿色发展问题。
“Fast Reactor ” is short for “sodium fast neutron reactor” and is the preferred reactor of the 4th generation advanced nuclear energy system in the world, representing the development direction of the 4th generation nuclear energy system. Fast reactor nuclear fuel closed cycle, uranium resource utilization can be increased to 60% or more, but also long-lived nuclear waste generation can be minimized, to minimize radioactive waste. The international community generally believes that the development and promotion of fast reactors can fundamentally solve the problem of the sustainable development of world energy resources and green development.
