在批林批孔运动和学习无产阶级专政理论的推动下,近两年来,我省广大林业职工和贫下中农,遵照毛主席关于“推广优良品种”、“有了优良品种即不增加劳动力、肥料,也可获得较多的收成”的教导,在各级党委和林业部门领导的重视和支持下,广泛地开展了以杉木为主的群众性的材木良种选育工作,取得了一定的成绩。初选了一批杉木优树。为我省杉木实现良种化,提供了初步的物质基础。并对杉木优树的选择标准和选择方法进行了一些初步的研究。现对有关的一些问题,提出几点意见,供讨论参考。
