江苏省林学会于三月五日召开了在宁理事会议,出席会议的共有二十七人。省科学技术协会也派员参加了会议。 会议由学会理事长陈和亭同志主持。 会议传达了中共中央〔1979〕97号文件精神,总结了一九七九年工作,讨论了一九八○年工作计划。会议期间,理事们畅所欲言,各疏己见,热烈讨论,并提出了不少积极的建议,对进一步改进今年学会工作必将起到良好的作用。 会议一致认为,一九七九年,学会在省科协、中国林学会和省科委、省农林局的领导和关怀下,为了适应党的工作着重点的转移,促进我省林业事业的发展,进一步繁荣林业科学事业,做了不少工作。如,进行了老会员的登记和新会员的发展工作,选举产生了第四届理事会,举行了学术年会、杉木速生丰产学术讨论会和木本油料学术报告会,开展了科普宣传工作,为全国性学术会议推荐论文等。
