当前,各国政府对宽带发展的重视程度在提高,体现在越来越多的国家发布了宽带发展战略或者发展计划上。截至2011年3月底,全球共有98个国家和地区提出了宽带发展战略。从各国提出的宽带发展战略来看,宽带提速和纳入普遍服务是发展目标,发展中国家强调宽带普及,而发达国家基本跨越了这一目标,重点关注超高速宽带的发展,以100M以上超高速宽带作为发展目标。
