Molten metal flow control is the use of a pair of three-phase 200V planar linear induction electromagnetic pump to carry out research. Two solenoid pumps, each with a capacity of 11.5 kilovolts, are placed on either side of the vertical tube and create a force that opposes the direction in which the metal free-falls. The molten metal used is aluminum alloy and cast iron. For aluminum, the flow rate was reduced from 1.20 kg / sec to 0.83 kg / sec as the input voltage increased from 0 to 200V.
