徐州20号(原系号7554),是江苏省徐州地区农科所用徐州17作母本,郑州741作父本杂交育成。1985年3月经江苏省农作物品种审定委员会审定。1980—1982连续三年在江苏省淮北地区多点试验、示范,一般亩产600—800斤,比当地推广品种约增产1—2成。1983年参加全国黄淮冬麦区南片中肥组区试,在江苏的徐州,安徽的宿县、阜阳,河南的郑州、周口,陕西的宝鸡四省6点试验,平均亩产620.3斤,比对照泰山1号增产13.3%,居9个品种的第二位,1984年继续参加黄淮区试,平均亩产824.0斤,比泰山1号增产30.8%,居7个参试品种之首。据徐淮广大社员反映,该品种适应性广,抗病抗灾能力较强,丰产,早熟。是稻麦两熟或旱作晚茬地区较理想的中高肥、迟播早熟品种。

It is the middle-high and late-sowing early-maturing varieties that are ideal for rice-wheat double cropping or late cropping in dry conditions.
