Thyroid iodine metabolism related genes is an important sign of thyroid cancer differentiation. Differentiated thyroid cancer due to loss or down-regulation of expression of a series of genes related to iodine dendifferentiation, resulting in loss of cancer cells on radioactive iodine (131I) uptake capacity. Therefore, the study of re-differentiation of thyroid cancer ~ (131) I treatment is of great significance. The study confirmed that BRAF gene mutation and the loss of thyroid papillary carcinoma is closely related to the phenomenon. This article reviews the progress of the research on the differentiation of dedifferentiated thyroid carcinoma by up-regulating the expression of genes related to iodine metabolism in thyroid and inhibiting the mutation of BRAF gene.
