本文从考定《诗经.小雅.鼓钟》一诗的创作年代入手,揭示出周宣王朝初期,曾存在一种篡改军士原作和地方风乐而入《雅》的成诗方式,并由此论及中国上古文学艺术中的审美发生问题。指出在古老的宗法制度渐趋衰败的时候,原本作为社会集体意识形态,长期附属于政治功利目的的诗歌艺术,是如何伴随着自我本位意识的萌动和个体精神从社会共同体引退、逃避而逐渐脱离伦理—政治母体,转变为独立的审美活动的。
