公共文化活动是宣传党的政策方针、法律的重要途径,是传播先进文化,提供精神食粮,满足人民群众文化需要,保障人民群众基本文化权益的各种公益性文化机构和服务的有效形式。提高公共文化活动水平,对构建和谐社会,增强国家的软实力,提高群众文化的素质,意义重大。改革开放以来,在各级党委政府的支持下和文化干部的共同努力下,公共文化活动取得了长足的进步和成效,但离党和人民群众的需要仍然有一定的差距。需要进一步加大力度,切实提高公共文化活动水平,为建设有中国特色社会主义营造良好的文化环境。
Public cultural activities are an important form of propaganda of the party’s policies, policies and laws. They are effective forms of various public cultural institutions and services that disseminate advanced culture, provide spiritual food, satisfy people’s cultural needs, and safeguard people’s basic cultural rights. Raising the level of public cultural activities is of great significance to building a harmonious society, enhancing the country’s soft power and enhancing the quality of the mass culture. Since the reform and opening up, with the support of Party committees and governments at all levels and the joint efforts of cultural cadres, the public cultural activities have made great progress and effectiveness. However, there is still a certain gap between the needs of the party and the people. We need to further increase our efforts to effectively raise the level of public cultural activities and create a favorable cultural environment for building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
