随着市场经济的发展,出版业在市场经济的影响下,在经营模式上发生着转换,而在出版工作中居于中心地位的编辑工作,同样也发生着深刻的变化。这些变化影响着编辑职责和功能的变化。当然,编辑工作作为精神生产和再创性智力劳动的性质以及编辑工作传承文化的目的是不变的,变的主要是对编辑在出版工作中主观能动性方面的要求,如编辑要树立市场意识。
