视频监控行业正在加速从模拟向数字化技术转变,而IP网络化、高清晰编解码、智能分析技术的引入,则让这一传统行业呈现出崭新的面貌。据安全行业协会(SIA)在去年发布的《中国安全市场报告》声称,预计中国的安全与保护市场会从2005年的63亿美元猛增至2010年的180亿美元。而频监控产品约占整个安防产品的50%,并且把大量资金重点放在技术和算法的研发及创新上。当前高清算法的研究就成为了一个热点,比如编码算法的研究及应用编码技术如何实现高清监控。本文中将对高清视频压缩标准和高清编码应用等方面作一些探讨,希望能对大家有所启发。
The video surveillance industry is accelerating the shift from analogue to digital technology, and the introduction of IP networking, high-definition codecs and intelligent analytics has given this traditional industry a new look. According to the China Security Market Report released last year by the Security Industry Association (SIA), it is estimated that the security and protection market in China will soar from 6.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2005 to 18 billion U.S. dollars in 2010. The frequency monitoring products account for about 50% of the entire security products, and a lot of money on technology and algorithm research and development and innovation. The current research on high-definition algorithms has become a hot spot, such as coding algorithm research and application of coding techniques to achieve high-definition monitoring. In this article, we will make some discussions on HD video compression standards and high-definition coding applications, and hope to inspire everyone.
