党的十四届五中全会通过的《中共中央关于制定国民经济和社会发展“九五”计划和2010年远景目标的建议》,是在发展社会主义市场经济条件下的第一个中长期规划,是社会主义现代化建设跨世纪的宏伟蓝图,也是巩固、发展改革开放和现代化建设的伟大成果,沿着建设有中国特色社会主义道路不断前进,实现国家富强、民族振兴和社会长治久安的根本大计。《建议》必将激励和鼓舞着全党同志和全国各族人民,在以江泽民同志为核心的党中央领导下,更加紧密地团结起来,高举建设有中国特色社会主义的伟大旗帜,为把我国建设成富强、民主,文明的社会主义现代化国家而奋斗!
