1997年,美国宇航局发射“卡西尼”号宇宙飞船,经过七年的飞行,“卡西尼”到达了预号定轨道,开始围绕土星旋转。此后13年间,“卡西尼”源源不断地发回许多关于土星的震撼人心的美图,让人们对宇宙的认识更进一步。然而就在2017年9月15日“卡西,尼”燃料即将耗尽,不得不走向生命尽头,按照预设坠毁在土星大气层。尽管它已经不在了,但它将因带来宝贵的资料而被历史永远铭记。
In 1997, NASA launched the “Cassini” spacecraft. After seven years of flying, Cassini arrived at the orbit and began to revolve around Saturn. Over the next 13 years, Cassini has sent back an incredible number of beautiful pictures about Saturn, bringing people’s understanding of the universe a step further. However, on September 15, 2017, “Casi, Nigeria” is about to run out of fuel and has to go to the end of its life and crash into the atmosphere of Saturn as planned. Although it is gone, it will always be remembered by history for bringing valuable information.
