为提高国家教委所属设计单位工程设计水平,推进技术进步,配合国家优秀工程设计的评选活动,国家教委于1991年4月15日至18日,在南京东南大学建筑设计研究院举办了国家教委第二次优秀工程设计评选。 委属建筑设计院(室),都附设在国内著名的大学里,具有设计与科研、教学相结合的特色,是土建专业师生的生产实践基地。新中国成立以来,这些大学培养了大量的建设人才,目前国内主要的建筑方面的杰出人才,大多数出自这些院校。
