为了支持并利用有机发光二极管(OLED)显示技术,设计一种适用于96×64无源OLED(PM-OLED)的显示控制与驱动芯片。该芯片可以实现6.5万彩色显示和256级对比度调节,驱动方法采用了脉冲幅度调制(PAM)。芯片不但集成了数字和模拟电路,而且兼容高电压和低电压同时工作。测试结果表明:在低压电源为3 V、高压电源为12 V的情况下,当列驱动单元输出电流为100μA时,驱动电路和显示屏的整体模块功耗约为770 mW,所设计的控制与驱动芯片能够正确显示彩色图像。
In order to support and make use of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display technology, a display control and driver chip suitable for a 96 × 64 passive OLED (PM-OLED) is designed. The chip can achieve 65,000 color display and 256 levels of contrast adjustment, the drive method uses a pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). The chip not only integrates digital and analog circuits, but also compatible with high voltage and low voltage at the same time work. The test results show that when the output voltage of the column driver is 100μA under the condition of 3 V low-voltage power supply and 12 V high-voltage power supply, the overall power consumption of the driver circuit and the display screen is about 770 mW.
