The Twin Towers Site is located in Shuangta Village, Desong Mongolian Township, Taobei District, Baicheng City, Jilin Province. It is in the Songnen Plain in the north of the Great Plains of Northeast China. Unearthed remains can be divided into three periods, belonging to different archaeological culture. The remains of the third period belong to the late Bronze Age and the second period of culture. The era was initially inferred as the Warring States Period to the Western Han Dynasty. Two towers of the site unearthed more pottery, bronze, bone, in order to explore the Songnen Plain Bronze Age cultural development to provide information. In this paper, microscopic observation, metallographic examination, scanning electron microscopy (EDS) and other methods were used to analyze the 58 pieces of 63 metal objects unearthed from the site. The analysis shows that the material of the utensils includes copper alloy, lead and copper alloy, mainly including copper arsenic alloy, copper tin lead alloy and copper tin lead arsenic alloy. Mostly for the production of casting shape, part of the objects by hot forging, cold and heat treatment. It showed that residents at that time had been able to consciously formulate alloys with better mechanical properties according to the use functions and processing methods of the categories of objects and could repeatedly make objects of higher quality and showed better copper production levels.
