太湖房方案取江南园林山水形意。一层展廊部分正是衬托太湖房的一叶托底,给予这个自然之物一个小小的滋养语境。展廊水平向延展,让江岸、建筑、江水在通透的空间中交织,也在方位上映衬出太湖房垂直攀升的动势。太湖房设置三层高度,是生活在现代都市中,仍能保持登山远望的一种执念。古代中国文人通过造园叠山置石,表达一种人与自然紧密联系的形式系统。在上海这个象征现代价值取向的大都会里,这将直接暗示人的价值取向,是人生观的一种转译。
