在苏黎世大学罗伯特·P.克莱默斯教授和香港圣经公会的支持下,由吕振中牧师翻译的圣经中文全译本于1970年问世,这使吕振中成为有史以来第一位将圣经翻译为白话文的中国人。尽管吕版圣经未达到教会权威们制定的翻译标准,但作为圣经中译史上的里程碑,它可以既用于教会内部也面向普罗大众。吕振中近三十年和克莱默斯十余年的共同努力没有白费。对于把福音传播给中国人这一普世事业来说,他们的硕果现在是、将来也会是值得称颂的贡献。 With the support of Professor Robert P. Clements and the Hong Kong Biblical Society of Zurich University, a Chinese translation of the Bible translated by Rev. Lv Zhenzhong was made in 1970, making it the first Chinese to translate the Bible into vernacular Chinese history people. Although the Lu version of the Bible did not meet the translation standards set by the church authorities, as a milestone in the history of Chinese Bible translation, it can be used both within the church and for the general public. In the nearly thirty years of Lv Zhen and Clemence’s more than ten years of joint efforts have not been wasted. For the universal cause of spreading the gospel to the Chinese, their fruits are, and will be, deservedly commendable in the future.
