在西方音乐艺术的发展演进的过程中,意大利、德国、奥地利、法国、美国分别在不同的时期扮演着重要的艺术中心角色,其中美国的崛起最具有典型意义。两次世界大战的喧嚣没有干扰新大陆的发展,众多作曲家、指挥家、演奏家为了躲避战乱、躲避战后重建的种种艰难困苦,来到了新大陆、来到了美利坚。所以说,美国的艺术向心力来自经济实力的强大和和平的弥足珍贵。
During the development and evolution of western music art, Italy, Germany, Austria, France and the United States each played an important role of art center in different periods. Among them, the rise of the United States was the most typical. The bustle of the two world wars did not disturb the development of the New World. Many composers, conductors and performers invaded the United States came to the New World in order to evade the war and to avert the hardships and difficulties after the war. Therefore, the United States’ artistic centripetal force comes from the tremendous strength of the economic strength and the preciousness of peace.
