饼干类食品在我们的生活中相当普遍,它种类繁多,口感酥脆香甜,很多人喜欢选择饼干作为零食或点心。目前,中国饼干人均年消费量为1千克左右,而发达国家饼干的人均年消费量为25~35千克,中等发达国家也有12~18千克。但是,我们不要低估了这小小的饼干对健康所带来的危害——它所含的食用香精和色素过多,会对肝脏功能造成很大负担;饼干糖分的代谢会严重破坏维生素;其热量过多,而营养成分含量却很低。因此,世界卫生组织2004年将饼干类食品(不包括低温烘烤和全麦饼干)列入世界十大垃圾食品之一。
