After I joined the Shanghai edition of Ta Kung Pao in April 1936, until the suspension of the publication of the Beijing edition of the Ta Kung Pao in 1966, I was in the editorial office of Ta Kung Pao for some 30 years. Although I was not the upper-class cadres of Ta Kung Pao and also participated in some important issues, Knowing some specific situations, I personally intended to write a few memoirs of my own personal experience. As a reference material for the study of the Ta Kung Pao, I now write down this memoir of Hong Kong. After the fall of Shanghai in late 1937, the traffic was isolated and the newspapers were printing a large number of foreign-ordered roll-call newspapers in Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
