上世纪50年代中后期,我国掀起内河航道建设第一次高潮,川江航道整治后实现昼夜通航,京杭运河扩建工程先后有123万人参加建设,人数之多为其他工程所罕见。
In the mid and late 1950s, China set off the first climax of the construction of the inland waterway. After the completion of the waterway, the canal was circumnavigated by day and night. There were 1.23 million people participating in the expansion of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which was rare in other projects.
