在机械加工中,加工工艺常常很难保证设计参数,以下是新泽西州Ok Tool公司加工阀门部件时遇到的一例。图中所示的阀体有三个问题:①工体的三个凸角和一个凹角处要求角半径为0.005″;②三处直径尺寸公差要求保证四位小数;③同轴度要求在±0.0004″范围内。工体要在Okuma LC40CNC车床上加工。 Ok Tool公司在加工过程中,采用了NTK刀具公司生产的标准金属陶瓷刀头代替硬质合金刀头。这种新刀头是标准刀头,而且具有精磨断屑器,刀尖角半径为0.004″。工件是1018号钢(BHN160),可切削性很好,但要加工半径为0.005″的凸凹角,Ok Tool公司不得不对每个刀头进行磨削,以保证刀尖角半径。
