我国的点心种类样式繁多,各民族所做点心,都根据自己的风俗习惯,以甜、酸、苦、辣、碱不同味道,做出了各形各色的精美点心。满族点心最讲究的是奶油饽饽。奶油做皮,纯奶油加糖做的“奶饽饽”有:奶截子、奶饼子、奶拌子、奶糕、奶乌他(满语)、奶酪等等。由奶油和面做皮,再由奶油和乾鲜果品加糖、桂花、玫瑰、蜂蜜、饴糖拌馅做的油面或酥皮的奶油饽饽有:蝴蝶酥、竹节酥、到口酥、核桃酥、杏仁酥、奶油“光头”、奶油“炉条”、小炸食、七炒、“火纸筩”、枣花、大八件、小八件等等。酥皮带馅的有:玫瑰饼、藤萝饼、鸡油饼、七星饼,还有枣泥馅、豆沙馅、山楂馅、松子白糖馅的各种饽饽。这些点心都是酥松、甜软,美不胜收。饽饽中最受欢迎的是奶油“萨其玛”(满语)。
