本科是一九五○年春创立,到本年暑期,只能算有三个学期的历史。第一学期名教育科数理组,仅学生一班;第二学期名为数理科物理组,计学生两班。第三学期结束毕业学生一班;这学期正式改为今名物理科,计本科学生两班,理化进修班学生一班。现在把本科一年半来,教研组的发展,教学内容的改革,教学方法的改进,设备的充实,毕业生的情况等分述在后面。
