For various types of self-insulation concrete blocks, how to reduce the “cold bridge” effect of the mortar joints is very important to improve the overall thermal performance of the block wall. Especially for walls with heat transfer coefficient less than 0.5w / (m2 · k), the size of the mortar joints and the thermal conductivity of masonry mortar itself play a key role in the heat transfer coefficient of the wall. Germany and other Nordic countries since the insulation concrete block construction generally use thin gray stitching. Therefore, it is very important to control the thickness of the horizontal mortar at the time of masonry construction (Most of the vertical seams adopt the form of occlusion, there is no mortar for vertical ash bonding).
