福建省永春县有座海拔1000多米的舟山,山上有始建于隋朝的千年古刹“惠仙岩”,环山10公里的千年古城,风光旖旎的一十六处名胜景观,被世人誉为“闽南普陀山”。《永春州志》记载:“舟山绵亘三十里,形如仰船。其山势船头较高,船尾稍低,中部略陷为船底,船腹椭圆宽大,形成一个面积约三平方公里的高山小盆地。站在舟山东边船头岗上极目而望,泉州双乳山历历在目,百里平川奔来眼底,令人心旷神怡;向西南望去,安溪县城与湖头、长坑以及南安蓬华等处山川景物,若隐若现,游目骋怀,顿时心胸开阔;转而远眺东北,永春县城及周边乡镇清晰可辨,如在眼前。
