巍山是云南回族分布较为集中的地区,整个县域有清真寺23座。其建筑形式与规模不尽相同,建筑装饰各具特色。巍山回族清真寺建筑的特色主要体现于礼拜殿隔扇装饰艺术。由于处在建筑的主要立面,隔扇常常是建筑装饰的重点,隔扇装饰艺术直接反映着其所在地区的文化艺术与审美意识。巍山回族清真寺隔扇门装饰艺术即是回族伊斯兰文化在巍山地区本土化与民族化的外在形式体现。
Weishan is a concentrated area of Yunnan Hui ethnic distribution, there are 23 mosques throughout the county. The form and scale of its construction vary, architectural decoration has its own characteristics. Weishan Hui mosque building features mainly reflected in the worship hall fan decorative arts. Because of the main façade of the building, the partition leaf is often the focus of architectural decoration. The decorative art of partition leaf directly reflects the culture, arts and aesthetic awareness of the area where it is located. The mosque of Weishan Hui nationality is decorated by the door and the art of decoration is the external form of the Hui nationality’s native culture and nationalization in the Weishan area.
