“Athlete’s Heart Syndrome” is a physiological adaptation of the heart to long-term exercise in a well-exercised state. Athletes ECG often presents slow sinus rhythm, Ⅰ degree atrioventricular block, right or left ventricular hypertrophy and myocardial ischemia similar to the pattern. In order to determine the changes of electrocardiogram (ECG) of athletes mainly based on physical training and their relationship with body shape or race, this article made a detailed ECG analysis on 289 healthy male professional football players. Methods: The clinical and electrocardiographic examinations of 303 athletes aged 21-35 years from 1976 to 1981 were conducted. 14 cases were excluded due to various diseases, the remaining 289 cases were measured height, weight, body surface area and blood pressure. Where 12 lead electrocardiogram showed repolarization
