農曆元旦,是我國各族人民傳統的盛大節日,因為這時正值春季的開始,所以稱作春節。人口最多的漢族人民過春節,不論南方、北方,風俗習慣相差不多。而五十多個少數民族人民過春節,却有許多饒有風趣的習俗。共度‘友好節’不少民族過春節,有一些显示團結友愛、互相幫助的習俗。佤族人在大年初一總要相互拜年祝賀,特別要向寨子裏的長者祝贺。拜年時賓主互贈芭蕉、糯米,表示團結和睦。白族人在除夕清晨相互祝福、贈送禮物後,各自回家杀猪過年。所有殺猪的人家需拿出一些猪肉放在一起,煮熟後全村每人一份。未殺猪的人除
