在现代制造业中,汽车(乘用车)制造业以其对国民经济不可替代的重要贡献,在制造业当中占据了举足轻重的地位。汽车制造业是集资金密集型,人力密集型和技术密集型为一体,又直接面向最终大众的耐久消费品行业。随着整个耐久消费品市场的趋势愈来愈向快速化迁移,产品的生命周期越来越短,产品研发时间也相应缩短,在更短的时间内高质量的完成研发工作,并按照节点顺利投产,避免因为节点延迟导致的未上市先失败的情况,对产品研发工作更是巨大的挑战。泛亚汽车技术中心致力于提升设计开发质量,从投产支持,到国产化、小改型,再到全新开发,短短的14年就拥有了自主设计开发整车的能力。《多元集成的质量策略在汽车系统开发中的创新应用》,揭示了创新运用质量方法对汽车产品缩短研发时间的重要性。在最近召开的全国质量技术奖励大会暨第九届全国六西格玛大会上,该文荣获中国质量协会质量技术奖一等奖。
